We are currently seeking a Financial Analyst. This role is located at our Home Office in Columbus, Ohio ( German Village). The Financial Analyst is responsible for providing timely and accurate financial analysis, reporting and forecasting.  

Responsibilities: 

• Develop and maintain proforma financial models for residential real estate development opportunities. 

• Perform detailed property level financial models and/or underwriting 

• Analyzes market comps, location, and demographics of the properties to evaluate underwriting assumptions 

• Conduct market research to support underwriting assumptions.  

• Compile budgetary and financial data to analyze performance and profitability.  

• Prepare finance-centric marketing materials to assist in raising debt and equity.  

• Assists with preparation of investment presentation 

• Creation and completion of all investor, sponsor and project return analysis including debt and equity offerings to be presented to external capital partners 

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in finance

• Experience or internship in Real Estate preferred

• Strong Excel modeling skills. 

• Ability to analyze quantitative and qualitative information to be utilized for decision making 

• Ability to work effectively both as an independently and as part of a team 

• Ability to simplify and effectively communicate complex ideas in writing and through data visualization techniques. 

• Experience using Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, etc.) a plus.
