Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated Financial Analyst with 1-3 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across departments to support financial planning, reporting, and analysis functions. This role will contribute to the company’s success by providing insightful data analysis, accurate financial reporting, and process improvement initiatives.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and manage the annual corporate budget and quarterly updates to the two-year cash forecast.
  • Collaborate with departments to forecast and report revenue from leasing, development, construction, property management, and other fee sources.
  • Develop and present key company metrics and measurables to senior management.
  • Manage corporate schedules, including real estate summaries, debt schedules, and portfolio NOI/Occupancy metrics.
  • Produce financial reports for development projects and maintain comprehensive financial projections.
  • Utilize ARGUS Enterprise to model cash flows for retail, office, and multifamily assets.
  • Conduct property valuations using discounted cash flow and income capitalization methods.
  • Review and analyze appraisals for fair value reporting of assets.
  • Oversee the company’s development reimbursement agreement with the City of Phoenix, including transaction privilege tax (TPT) license management, cost qualification, reimbursement requests, and revenue modeling.
  • Provide ad hoc financial analysis to support senior management decision-making.
  • Organize and consolidate master association and development-related documents into a centralized reference resource.

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, real estate, or a related industry.
  • Proficiency in ARGUS Enterprise, Excel, and financial modeling tools.
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting principles.
  • Familiarity with real estate development and asset management is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines, prioritize and deliver quality work under pressure.
