As the Regional Director for New Partner Optimization, you are the driving force behind Savant’s success in your assigned markets. You’ll be a key leader, representing Savant to our teammates and business partners while shaping the growth and strategy of your region. In this role, you’ll lead the charge in expanding market presence, driving revenue growth, and optimizing profitability. You will develop and refine growth strategies, analyze market trends, and adapt approaches to stay ahead of client needs. Your leadership will directly influence marketing initiatives, promotional events, and advisor training programs, ensuring our teams are equipped to attract and retain clients effectively. With a strong blend of strategic vision and hands-on leadership, you’ll oversee multiple teams, foster collaboration, and create a high-performance culture. The Regional Director (RD) can expect to focus in the following areas:

Coach advisors new to Savant on firm processes.

Monitor and reports on key KPIs through manual data gathering when necessary.

Responsible for compensation rollout and key analytics.

Owns the P&L of assigned teams.

Provide leadership, coaching and mentoring to a group of advisor teams.

This is a full-time leadership position.

Develops a regional organic growth strategy to achieve firm goals.

Develops a strategy to improve client retention; monitors retention metrics across teams and resolves any issues.

Partners with the Director of Client Service to ensure optimal service to advisors and clients.

Achieves segmentation and utilization metrics.

Accountable for appropriate team capacity allocation and planning.

Develops staffing plans tailored to the regional needs and growth projections.

Facilitates cross-team collaboration and defining best practices with other Regional Directors.

Assists with sourcing and attracting advisory talent. Supports efforts that promote a healthy talent pipeline (career fairs, internships, etc.)

Assists with sourcing M&A targets.

Develops and organizes advisor retreats and events in their region. Is actively involved in the continual training and education of all Advisors to enhance their skillsets and knowledge base.

Provides support to advisors with sourcing and closing new client opportunities with advisors, when needed. Supports new business development outreach through community events, educational outreach and social organization involvement.

Facilitate various all-hands calls across regions. For example, monthly Team Lead calls, employee recognition calls, etc.

Work directly with internal partners (i.e. Marketing, Investment Research, Tax & Consulting) on behalf of Advisory with the goal of supporting the overall client experience.

Skilled in delivering and supporting change management messaging with teams. Is calm in the face of high emotion or conflict and actively works to reduce tension and dissatisfaction. Is viewed as a skilled communicator that is viewed as objective and respectful to others. Implements initiatives and supports decisions in front of employees.

Leads integration efforts, helps to realize synergies and accelerate growth plans

Supervisory Responsibilities

Directly oversee and lead a regional team of primarily Managing Directors and Financial Advisors. This includes hiring, assigning work, and recommending salary increases, promotions, transfers, demotions, and/or terminations. When managing subordinate supervisors, provide leadership, guidance, and resources needed to ensure they are effective in their management roles. Management of employees should always be done in a legally compliant manner with the involvement of Human Resources as appropriate.

Champion a constructive culture and lead by example to promote an environment where employees are accountable, motivated by success, supported in taking initiatives, and are recognized for their achievements. Conduct regular discussions to review these measures, providing employees with specific feedback on their performance relative to expectations. Address areas for improvement promptly and celebrate achievements to motivate and reinforce successful outcomes, providing fair, constructive, and timely feedback.

This Regional Director role will work closely with locations where we are integrating new partners to Savant, which means the locations/region will change based upon business need.
