Our team in Wellesley, MA is growing! As a key relationship manager, the Lead Financial Advisor (known as Financial Advisor II at Savant) nurtures and expands client relationships while collaborating with senior advisors to deliver exceptional service. Based in vibrant Wellesley, MA, this role is integral to fostering client trust, driving new business growth, and providing tailored financial strategies. You'll oversee client engagements from inception to execution, leveraging technical specialists as needed to craft expert recommendations. The Financial Advisor II will focus on the following key areas:

  • Client Relationship Management: Serve as a co-advisor or lead advisor for existing clients, adhering to the responsibilities outlined in the Savant Advisory Career Path. Own and manage client relationships to ensure satisfaction, retention, and long-term trust.

  • Service Delivery Excellence: Ensure the profitable delivery of service models as defined in the Savant Service and Segmentation Guidelines, while consistently upholding Savant's Core Values.

  • Onboarding and Strategic Engagement: Lead and participate in critical client interactions, including "The Discovery Interview," "My Ideal Future" discussions, and other onboarding processes that establish a foundation for success.

  • Collaboration with SMEs: Act as a key liaison between clients and other internal subject matter experts to ensure seamless communication and execution of strategies.

  • Business Development: Contribute to new client relationship development by participating in prospecting efforts, strategic planning meetings, and follow-up workflows for onboarding new clients.

  • Network Building: Develop and leverage a strong network of referral sources and centers of influence

  • Team Collaboration: Maintain a team-oriented approach by assisting colleagues and providing coverage as needed to ensure exceptional service delivery.

Qualifications

Our Financial Advisor role typically requires the following qualifications:
 

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, financial planning, or related field from an accredited college or university; Master’s degree preferred
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in investment management, financial planning or financial services with demonstrated ability to develop and manage plans and manage client relationships
  • Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP) designation upon hire
  • All Financial Advisor applicants must have a clean U4 with no disclosures.
  • Financial planning/wealth management acumen, judgment and experience
  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • Client-first attitude
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, as well as financial planning and securities balancing software
  • A team player, collaborative, able to work with and through others
