GENERAL PURPOSE: Information Technology Trainer
IT Trainer is responsible for providing supports for computer systems and operations for the entire corporation.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES: Information Technology Trainer
- Train new staff on new technologies and the Electronic Medical Records system.
- Evaluates effectiveness of training and staff development programs
- Collects and records data accurately on training received by staff
- Maintains open communication with supervisor and all staff
- Maintains confidentiality of all patients/personnel records
- Design training curriculum to continually improve staff understanding and knowledge of newly introduced updates, workflows, and content.
- Maintain documentation to ensure all staff is appropriately and fully trained.
- Other Duties assigned by supervisor

PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABLITIES: Information Technology Trainer
- AA degree in Information Technology or at least 1-year prior teaching/tutoring/coaching experience desired
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft computer
- Exceptional time management skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Organized and detail oriented
- Work as a team member to meet goals and objectives
- Demonstrate clear knowledge of Ampla Health’s clinic structure, standards, procedures and protocols
COMMUNICATIONS SKILLS: Information Technology Trainer
- Must have neat and legible handwriting
- Must be able to interact with patients courteously and calmly
- Ability to communicate well with the public
- Excellent Customer Service skills required
- Understanding of HIPAA in a healthcare environment
WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Information Technology Trainer
Works well with employees and vendors in a generally comfortable environment office. Employees must possess the following physical requirements:
- May require prolonged sitting or standing
- Vision sufficient to read handwritten, typed and computer printed documents throughout the day
- Speech and hearing sufficient to receive and communicate detailed information clearly by phone and in person
- Must have a high level of manual dexterity
- Physically able to sit, walk or otherwise stand for long periods of time, frequent bending, stooping, and stretching. Repetitive hand, arm and shoulder movements.
- Able of lift up to 40 pounds and pushing up to 100 pounds (on wheels)
