Minimum Education/Experience Required:
- Successful completion of a state-licensed and/or nationally accredited sleep technology program; or current licensure by the state of Ohio as an LPN; or certification as a medical assistant with a minimum of two years of experience is required.
- Become a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist within 2 years of hire required.
- BLS certification required.
Special Knowledge, Skills, Training:
- Possesses good communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to deal tactfully and harmoniously with guests, physicians, and co-workers.
- Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to recognize and provide age specific care in the treatment, assessment, and education of patients served in the sleep lab.
Compensation Details: Education, experience, and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.
