Minimum Education/Experience Required:
- Registered Respiratory Therapist or Certified Respiratory Therapist licensed by the Ohio Medical Board AND West Virginia Board of Respiratory Care.
- Minimum one year of experience required.
- Must obtain West Virginia Clinical Laboratory Practitioner Point of Care Technician License upon employment.
- BLS and NRP certification required.
- ACLS preferred.
- Must have a valid driver's license and remain insurable by hospital's agent.
- Required to travel between various locations throughout the system as assigned.
- Maintains compliance in RQI required – BLS, NRP, PALS, and others as appropriate.
Special Knowledge, Skills, Training:
- Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served in the respiratory therapy department.
- Required to maintain competency across all applicable system locations by working in each of the designated locations at least once per quarter.
Compensation Details: Education, experience, and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.
