Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (Masters preferred) in engineering or business/economics with 12+ years of account management experience, ideally with recent sales experience in subsea telecommunications or data center services.
- Current knowledge of regional key customers is preferred and existing relationships with key individuals and decision-makers is advantageous.
- Ability to manage specific deadlines.
- Attention to detail and superior organizational skills required.
- Excellent presentation skills a must.
- Broad-based knowledge across the company’s functions is a plus.
- Prior experience with project or people management preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) required.
- Ability to lead complex, multi-party contract negotiations to successful conclusion.
- Basic knowledge of fiber-optic systems, bandwidth services, and the fundamentals of optical networking.
- Basic understanding of project finance and commercial terms for large-scale contracts.
- Ability to prospect for opportunities and gather market intelligence using professional networking.
- Ability to manage a bid team and work remotely from the head office while managing a sales territory.
- Candidates will be ideally based in the AP region.
- Must be able to work outside of normal business hours when required.
