JOB SUMMARY:  This position is responsible for supporting the bank’s operations by handling administrative tasks, transaction processing, and compliance monitoring. This role ensures the accuracy of financial records, reconciles accounts, and assists in risk management to maintain smooth banking operations.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Assist with the process of mergers and acquisitions
  • Prepare and maintain minutes for the monthly and annual board meetings
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts daily or weekly
  • Maintain information on various Excel worksheets.
  • Manage Public Pledging and reports.
  • Maintain FDIC correspondence & FDIConnect Website
  • Assist with bank insurance tasks as needed
  • Manage the Federal Reserve Borrowing Window collateral reports
  • Maintain the computation of semiannual director’s fees.
  • Assist with monthly reports
  • Assist with CFO with special projects
  • Manage correspondent bank accounts.
  • Assist with Strategic Planning reports
  • Prepare annual board meeting documents and upload to FILR.
  • Prepare annual shareholder meeting documents and upload to FILR.
  • Assist Treasury Management with back office processing.
  • Order Supplies bank wide. Distribute supplies locally if needed.
  • Must be able to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
  • Effectively work and cooperate with supervisors, co-workers and customers.
  • Follow the direction of the supervisor.
  • Other duties as assigned.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform other duties and projects as required by management.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONSIDERATION:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent. 
  • College level Accounting and or Finance courses, Accounts Payable and previous banking experience preferred. 
  • Must maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
  • Must be able to adhere and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient computer, 10 key and typing skills.
  • Dependable, trustworthy and willing to work as a member of a team while producing thorough and accurate work.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

This work is sedentary and requires the following physical activities:

  • Sitting for long periods of time; occasional bending, squatting, kneeling, stooping; good finger dexterity and feeling; frequent repetitive motions; talking, hearing, and visual acuity.
  • Occasional lifting (up to 25 pounds of paper supplies or minor office equipment).

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Normal office environment.
