JOB SUMMARY: This position is responsible for overseeing General Ledger and DDA account balancing, daily and month end, Overdraft Protection Freshstart set up and maintenance, Balancing Bank of Oklahoma general ledger credit card advances, Child Support and IRS levies, Garnishments, order supplies for the department, as well as back up other areas in the department as needed.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Balance numerous general ledger accounts daily/monthly, as well as Bank DDA accounts.

Maintain Fresh Start Accounts
-
Prepare Child Support levies, IRS levies and garnishments and process garnishment subpoenas as received.
-
Set up new Freshstart accounts and maintenance them as needed.
-
Order Supplies as needed for DSO.
-
Backup Wire Transfers & ACH, Exception Item Processing, ODP Letters, Collections, Dormant Notices, Charge Off Recoveries, Debit Cards and other areas of the department as needed.

Verify Wire Transfer and ACH transactions going to TIB as needed.

Verify Stop payment returns as needed.

Provide support to other department staff including filling in during their absences as needed.

Must be able to meet attendance and punctuality standards

Effectively work and cooperate with supervisors, co-workers and customers

Follow the directions of supervisor

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONSIDERATION:

High School Diploma or equivalent
-
Bookkeeping/clerical experience (including filing, letter writing,, etc.)

10-Key

Must maintain a high degree of confidentiality.

Dependable, trustworthy and willing to work as a member of a team while producing thorough and accurate work.

Customer service experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

Ability to follow written and oral instruction

Ability to use 10-key adding machine by touch.

Strong proficiency in PC applications, including MS Word and Excel, AS400, Windows XP.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
This work is primarily sedentary and requires the following physical activities:

Sitting for long periods of time; occasional bending, squatting, kneeling, stooping; good finger dexterity and feeling; frequent repetitive motions; talking, hearing, and visual acuity.
