JOB SUMMARY: This position is responsible for assisting the Lending Trainer in supporting and training bank personnel on lending products, software, policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Assist in providing training to lending staff on products, software, compliance, policies and procedures of the bank, with a focus on the Loan Officer and FSR positions.
- Develop/maintain familiarity with lending products and processes, lending related software, policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Assist with preparation and implementation of training material for lending staff on products, software, compliance, policies and procedures of the bank, with a focus on the Loan Officer and FSR positions.
- Maintain beneficial training curriculum and reference materials as directed by the Lending Trainer.
- Remain up-to-date on all facets of lending regulations.
- Attend continuing education programs that compliment training responsibilities.
- Support lending staff by responding to questions related to the lending processes, software, policies, and procedures in a professional, concise, and timely manner.
- Assist with regular training updates via e-mails and monthly FSR meetings as directed by the Lending Trainer.
- Assist and support all loan administration related departments as needed.
- Update related Intranet pages as needed.
- Must be self-motivated.
- Must be able to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
- Effectively schedule and adhere to regular training sessions for lending staff.
- Effectively work and cooperate with supervisors and co-workers.
- Follow the directions of supervisor.
- Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONSIDERATION:
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Power Point; 10 key and typing skills a must.
- Prior experience in loans/lending.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONSIDERATION:
- Experience using loan software.
- Prior training and/or customer service experience.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
This work is sedentary and requires the following physical activities:
- Sitting and talking for long periods; occasional bending, squatting, kneeling, stooping; good finger dexterity and feeling; frequent repetitive motions; talking, hearing, and visual acuity.
- Frequent lifting (up to 10 pounds of paper supplies or minor office equipment).
- Driving to other bank locations as needed.
- Willing to work flexible schedules.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Normal office environment.
- Travel to other locations is required.
