Country Glen Apartments is a 300+ market rate apartment community in Groton, CT.
Duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Clean and polish all common areas to include vacuuming, shampooing carpets, sweeping, mopping floors, washing windows, cleaning office areas, and common area bathrooms.
- Maintain cleanliness in pool and spa area daily.
- Preparing trash containers for pick-up by trash company; picking up trash around exterior of property and removing trash from hallways and other parts of the buildings where items may have been left.
- Light maintenance such as painting and replacing burned out light bulbs in common areas.
- Cleaning breezeways on a weekly basis. Duties may include pressure washing the vinyl siding, leaf blowing, washing down entry doors, and sweeping.
- Maintaining grounds to include filling sink holes, branch clean-up, and other light groundskeeping tasks assigned by management.
The Porter requires that an individual be able to lift moderate weights of between 30-60 lbs. on a regular basis and the ability to stand and/or walk all day. In addition, occasional heavy lifting may be required. Duties of this position may require strength and endurance in performing heavy manual labor. Must be able to work independently and strong customer service skills.
