Job Summary The Co-op Experience:
The Codonics Co-op Program has been enriching students for over 15 years. The dedication we have provided students enabled us to be honored with the Distinguished Employer Award by the Ohio Cooperative Education Association. We offer an excellent environment for students to learn and make a significant contribution at a manufacturing company with a growing number of opportunities. We provide a real world work experience designing and developing state-of-the-art technology regulated by the FDA. Our co-op program has provided full time employment for many students upon graduation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Participate in product development including software design, implementation and testing.
- Work with product managers and customers to understand product requirements.
- Perform, revise and improve product test procedures.
- Prepare documentation and reports related to testing, design and development activities.
- Learn and follow medical industry design control practices.
- Participate in daily operations of Software Department involving both projects and technology.
- Participate in medical industry trade shows.
- Any and other duties as assigned.
Skills:
- Primary software development environment is object-oriented using Java, C++, and various scripting languages
- Embedded product operating systems are Linux and Windows XPe.
Education:
- Computer Engineering/Computer Science student.
