Kett Engineering is accepting application and pre-qualifying candidates to be test drivers working with our customer on an automotive testing project on the 1st and 2nd shift . We are seeking reliable and technically savvy people with a general knowledge of how automobiles work.
This is a project expected to start Monday 8/26/24 and run 8-12 weeks
Schedule:
Monday - Friday
1st shift: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm
2nd shift: 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm
For the safety of our drivers we require test drivers to not perform any other forms of employment on days scheduled to drive.
Job Summary and General Purpose of Position:
The Test Driver follows the direction of the Facility Coordinator., performs various driving services on vehicles per shift according to customers specifications. Represents Kett in a professional manner.
The drivers will operator test vehicles on specific routes to gather data for the development of the vehicle.
Essential Functions:
- Drive test routes accurately and safely.
- Prepare accurate driver reports and other records on a daily basis, document observations in a clear and concise manner
- Perform related driving/vehicle prep work as assigned.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Qualifications
Job Requirements:
Education: High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
Skills and Experience: Must have at 4 years of licensed driving experience and possess a current operators license.
Must have current California Driver's License and a clean driving record for a minimum of 3 years.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Job requires sitting standing, and bending for approximately 6-8 hours on a daily basis.
Must pass a drug screen and background check.
