Qualifications and Skills
- Must have a valid driver license
- Must be able to trouble shoot various equipment and machines within a production and manufacturing environment
- Must have the ability to switch gears very quickly based upon job demands
- Must be familiar with computers and have basic data entry skills
- Must have the ability to bend, stoop, twist, turn, work in tight or confined spaces as well as stand throughout the duration of the shift
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis

- Must be able to measure accurately
- Ensure safety is applied in all maintenance functions
- Communicate effectively with all levels of personnel
- Must have the ability to multi task
Supervisory Responsibility
None
Work Environment
Frequently exposed to loud noises, machinery, and powered equipment. Temperature controlled environment. At time may need to work in environments that require additional safety precautions that require communication with other departments.
Physical Demands
Must be able to stand, bend, twist, and lift up to 50 lbs. or more with assist if needed on a regular basis. Will be required to follow all Food Safety and OSHA requirements with anything requiring physicality. Must be able to crawl in smaller spaces, or lower levels. Must be able to sit at a computer desk and complete paperwork which requires the ability to type and use a cell phone, or land phone
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
8-12 hour shifts, mandatory overtime
Travel
- Local travel will may be required
- Must maintain valid driver license
Education and Experience
- Must have high school diploma or equivalent
- Prefer at least 2 years of recent maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment, food is a plus
- Certifications in related fields are preferred
