JOB SUMMARY:
Assistant Womens Basketball Coach will work with the head basketball in all facets of the program. This includes the day-to-day operations of practice and game preparation. Recruitment of prospective student-athletes is a major focus of this position.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support the mission of Greensboro College and its athletics program
- Recruit qualified student-athletes
- Empower the student-athletes to become better students, players and people
- Aid in retention through academic, financial and athletic monitoring
- Implement and teach proper techniques and weight room safety
- Implement and develop all game plans
- Weekly academic monitoring
- Team travel itineraries
- Game day set up
- Equipment & software
- All other duties as assigned by the Head Basketball Coach
