This is a seasonal summer position. The regular schedule is 8-hour days, Monday through Friday, with a one-hour lunch break. This position involves assisting in the maintenance and repair of streets, sidewalks, and related infrastructure in the community. This position consists of various tasks that contribute to public safety and the area's overall appearance. Workers will operate equipment and perform manual labor as part of a team or independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform hand sweeping and cleaning in areas where machinery cannot access.
- Assist in repairing and maintaining potholes, cracks, and surface damage on streets and sidewalks.
- Assist in painting road markings and traffic lines as needed.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve efficient workflow and maintain high standards of service.
- Work on special projects as assigned.
