We are seeking a Project Manager to join our growing Highway Design Group.  We have an excellent opportunity for self-motivated Project Manager to support our rapidly growing clientele and project workload out of any of our Southern New England offices which include Hartford CT, Warwick RI, and Norwood MA.  The candidate will ideally have experience managing DOT and/or municipal transportation planning and engineering type projects. Specific experience working with CTDOT, RIDOT or MassDOT is a plus. Types of projects may include complex highway projects or local road reconstruction and everything in between.  Candidate should have a basic understanding of Complete Streets concepts and the design of pedestrian and bicycle facilities and associated funding programs.

The Project Manager is expected to oversee a small to medium-sized team of highway designers and/or planners.  The Project Manager will be responsible for managing the entire project delivery process of transportation projects or specific phases of projects.  Projects will generally be moderate to complex and may include but are not limited to highway/roadway reconstruction/realignment, intersection reconstruction, multi-use trails and sidewalks.  The Project Manager will also be responsible for managing client relationships and may be asked to participate in business development/marketing events.

The candidate should, at a minimum, have 8+ years of relevant traffic/transportation experience with a BS degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field. A PE license is preferred.
