Notre Dame High School, San Jose is the center for women’s leadership in Silicon Valley and has provided an exceptional Catholic college preparatory education for young women since 1851. Advancing Notre Dame

 

Notre Dame High School is the oldest private high school for young women in the Western United States.  Through decades, the school has responded to the times and has been a leader in women’s education.  Today, the school has a vision to be recognized as the center for women’s leadership advancing community partnerships that support career exploration, interfaith understanding and advocacy for transformative philanthropy.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Leads the development and implementation of strategy for fundraising and resource growth and is responsible for meeting annual fundraising targets
  • Provides professional expertise in leading a comprehensive advancement program that supports the mission and programs of Notre Dame High School
  • Creates and sustains a culture of giving and engagement through robust communications, annual giving programs, major gift solicitation, planned giving and capital campaigns
  • Engages constituents in the advancement of the school through their contributions of time, talent and financial resources
  • Oversees and directs the work of the advancement and marketing/communications team

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, or higher preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic fundraising strategies
  • Proven experience obtaining 5 to 6 figure gifts, bequests and grants; experience in non-profits, charities, annual campaigns and other philanthropic organizations
  • Strong team building and management skills
  • Advocacy for women’s leadership
