III. POSITION SUMMARY 
The primary purpose of the Business Banker is to develop new and maintain existing client relationships by calling on businesses, professional groups, and high net worth individuals to solicit new loan, deposit and treasury relationships in alignment with the Bank's initiatives and risk appetite.  In addition, they will work skillfully to develop a larger and broader portfolio of profitable clients through promoting the Bank as the primary financial institution of choice in the markets the Bank serves.  
IV. PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES
High Essential
Provide exceptional customer service both internally and externally and serve as a role model to staff.
Expand the Bank's business presence by cultivating, developing, and retaining long-term loan, deposit, and treasury clients and referral sources.
Responsible for ongoing management of existing business clients.
Obtain all documents for underwriting and creating the credit memorandum.
Present credit requests to approving authorities, including Chief Credit Officer and the Board Loan Committee.
Collaborate with current loan servicing group for underwriting requirements.
Maintain full understanding of the Bank's lending policy and applicable lending related policies and procedures.
Identify potential risks and create action plan to mitigate.
Participate in community or volunteer events representing the Bank, enhancing the Bank's visibility and giving back to the communities we serve.
Possess the ability to identify and refer cross-sell opportunities.
Low Essential
Provide support to Branch Managers and other departments to develop and maintain confidence needed to get maximum referrals.

V. EDUCATION 
4 yr. College degree or equivalent work experience.  Major or focus of study: Business/Finance
VI. RELATED EXPERIENCE 
Five years of banking experience, with a minimum of two years of business lending and underwriting experience.

Business loan servicing processes/procedures

X. QUALIFICATIONS: Licensing/Certifications
Registered with the NMLS Federal Registry and obtain an unique identifier number in accordance with the Bank's policies and procedures and all related regulations.

XII. WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS 
This job is conducted in an office work environment, and is generally sedentary but may require walking at times. Most of this position's duties require use of a computer. Some travel via car or air, and evening/weekend work may be required. Some travel and evening/weekend work may be required. Incumbent must meet the following physical requirements with or without reasonable accommodation:
a. Use hands to manipulate, handle, feel, and control items or equipment;
b. Walk, bend, kneel, and reach;
c. Lift up to 25
pounds, using all safety precautions;
