Cornerstone Care is seeking an Optometrist for our Washington, Pa. location. This new vision area has state of the art equipment to assist you in your care needs for our patients. You can make a difference in this practice, and you will have the support of the entire vision team to aide in your ongoing success.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducts eye exams using optometric equipment and general diagnostic interpretation.
- Diagnoses and treats ocular disease.
- Prescribes, fits, and adjusts eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other vision aids.
- Recommends appropriate patient follow-up and care options.
- Answers questions and provide advice to patients regarding vision and optical issues.
- Delivers outstanding customer service through all patient interactions.
- Directs staff and assist in the development of the overall practice.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Applied understanding of general principles of optometry and best practices for the diagnosis and treatment of eye-related disorders and conditions, with a Doctor of Optometry degree.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to relate to patients of diverse backgrounds.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
- General computer proficiency
- Demonstrated problem solving skills and multitasking ability.
