General Summary: 

The IT Director is responsible for overseeing and managing all IT operations. This role includes ensuring the alignment of IT strategy with business objectives, optimizing the performance of IT systems, and implementing technology solutions that drive secure operational efficiency and business growth. 

Essential Job Duties: 

  • Develop and implement IT strategies and initiatives that align with Capital Manors goals. 

  • Collaborate with management and third-party vendors to identify and prioritize IT projects. 

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the IT department, ensuring systems and networks operate efficiently and securely. 

  • Implement and maintain IT policies, procedures, and best practices. 

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. 

  • Plan, execute, and oversee IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. 

  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure successful project delivery. 

  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies and solutions to improve business processes and drive innovation. 

  • Oversee the implementation and integration of new systems and applications. 

  • Ensure the continuous improvement of existing IT systems. 

  • Implement and maintain robust cybersecurity measures to protect company data and systems. 

  • Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify and mitigate potential IT risks. 

  • Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans. 

  • Manage relationships with external IT vendors and service providers. 

  • Develop and manage the regional IT budget, ensuring cost control and financial efficiency. 

  • Assist various departments with their training needs. 

  • Attends in-service training and education sessions, as assigned. 

  • Other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or a related field required. 

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience or the equivalent education and/or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and ability for the job. 

  • Advanced knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure. 

  • Experience designing/developing IT systems and planning IT implementations. 

  • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills. 

  • Solid understanding of data analysis, budgeting, and business operations. 

  • Strong strategic and business mindset. 

  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills. 

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities. 

Physical Requirements /Working Conditions: 

Must be able to sit at a desk and work on a computer for prolonged periods of time. Must be able to move throughout the building and grounds as needed throughout the day; must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. Good visual and hearing acuity required; good verbal communication skills required.  Must be able to speak English. May be exposed to communicable diseases, and blood and body fluids that may contain HIV and/or HBV.  May be exposed to cleaning chemicals and offensive odors.
