Moody Gardens is seeking an enthusiastic Summer Events & Exhibits Intern to assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of events and exhibits throughout the property. This internship provides hands-on experience in event management, guest engagement, and exhibit operations, offering valuable industry knowledge in a dynamic hospitality and entertainment setting.

· Assist in the planning, setup, and breakdown of special events, exhibits, and promotions.
· Support event coordination by working with vendors, staff, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
· Provide guest interaction and engagement at exhibits, ensuring an informative and enjoyable visitor experience.
· Assist in exhibit maintenance, including monitoring displays, organizing materials, and ensuring all areas remain visually appealing.
· Help create promotional materials and signage for events and exhibits.
· Work alongside event managers and coordinators to enhance visitor participation and satisfaction.
· Conduct research and provide input for improving future events and exhibits.
· Assist with administrative tasks, such as event reports, inventory management, and scheduling.
· Ensure all events and exhibits follow safety protocols and operational guidelines.
· Provide excellent customer service by answering guest inquiries and offering assistance when needed.
