Job Summary: The Corporate Citizenship coordinator will plan, develop, implement, and analyze corporate social responsibility campaigns and related events to advance the mission and goals of the company.

Essential Responsibilities/Activities:

 

  • Employee Engagement: Encourage team member engagement in internal and external activities and support employee appreciation events.
  • Community Engagement: Work with Corporate Citizenship Director to implement the Company’s corporate social responsibility initiatives including volunteerism and community relations with nonprofits, education institutions, government entities and civic organizations.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with internal team members, nonprofits and government entities to advance corporate citizenship goals. Work with other team members and departments to promote corporate citizenship activities.
  • Reporting & Measurement: Track employee engagement and corporate social responsibility events and data.

 

Other Responsibilities/Activities:

 

  1. Support employer of choice initiatives
  2. Serve as a liaison for the Corporate Citizenship team to assigned location/s to support the work of the Corporate Citizenship team
  3. Serve as a liaison between the Company and the community
  4. Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, partners and influencers to implement and reinforce social responsibility programs and policies
  5. Additional duties may be requested from time to time

 

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

 

  1.  Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or a related field.
  2.  Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
  3.  1-3 years of experience in corporate social responsibility, nonprofit work or related fields.
  4.  Strong project management and organizational skills.
  5.  Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  6.  Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  7.  Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  8.  Must work well in a team environment.

 

Essential Mental Functions:

The qualified candidate must be outgoing, creative and a self-starter. The candidate must also exhibit good decision-making, analytical problem solving, and excellent organizational abilities. Additionally the candidate must able to communicate effectively, in written and spoken form, and possess excellent interpersonal relationship skills with all levels of personnel. Must work well in a team environment.

Essential Physical Functions:

Sitting for prolonged periods

Requires periodic visits to manufacturing facility with seasonal hot and cold temperatures, dust, and some chemical fume exposure.

Lifting, pushing, pulling, loading and unloading required related to engagement and event activities.

Some travel with overnight stays required

Equipment or Software Knowledge or Skills:

The qualified candidate must be proficient in the Microsoft suite of products, especially, Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
