Description

Job Summary: Will assist an Engineering Team responsible for executing the research and development projects on AAON products. They will be given tasks that support the efforts to implement new products or product changes with AAON. They will be given guidance from experienced engineers and/or Management responsible for running short-term projects.

 

 

Essential Responsibilities/Activities:

 

  •  Assist with product definitions/specifications.
  •  Assist with performance testing of AAON products
  •  Reads and reviews electrical diagrams.
  •  Evaluates, tests, and modifies unit components.
  •  Prepares product reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
  •  Communicates new product information and IOM/Service Manual information to all necessary AAON departments.
  •  Analyzes test data to determine products meet DOE, UL, and ANSI requirements.
  •  Travels, when necessary, for third party testing or product review at field test sites.

Education and Experience Requirements:

Degree(s): Candidate shall be currently enrolled in a College Engineering degree program

License(s): None

Certification(s): None

Essential Physical Functions: ·

  • Lift up to 50lbs.
  • Sit or stand for up to 95 percent of work hours.
  • Periodic visits to the manufacturing facility with seasonal hot and cold temperatures, dust, and some chemical fume exposure.
