Education and Experience Requirements:
Highschool diploma or GED equivalent.
1-2 years’ experience as a manufacturing worker, welder, or related position preferred. Prior work experience with Lean Manufacturing processes preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Excellent written and oral communication.
- Ability to rotate through workstations and multitask effectively.
- Familiar with safety, operations, and repairs for machinery like forklifts, pallet jacks, paint sprayers, etc.
- Maintain a safe and productive work area.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
- Frequent exposure to manufacturing facilities with seasonal hot and cold temperatures, dust, and some chemical fume exposure.
- Ability to stand comfortably for prolonged periods of time, as much as 95% of the workday.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
