Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, or related field and 10 years’ experience in product engineering, or related engineering roles with a focus on leadership and management.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong technical background in engineering and related technologies in the Data Center product applications.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and managing cross-functional engineering teams, including recruitment, performance management, and team development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders and drive consensus.
- Strategic thinker with a track record of successfully translating business requirements into technical solutions.
- Results-oriented mindset with a passion for delivering high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.
- Ability to lead multiple projects, including conceptual designs, make design recommendations, and mentor Design Engineers.
- Creativity and innovation to implement new ideas and technologies.
- Highly skilled in Mechanical Engineering and design.
- Demonstrates strong multi-tasking capabilities and organizational skills.
- Understands safety standards including but not limited to UL, CE, NEC, IBC, and NFPA.
- Exhibits good decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Work Environment:
- Ability to sit and/or stand for prolonged periods of time.
- Work is performed in a climate-controlled office setting.
- Frequent exposure to manufacturing facilities with seasonal hot and cold temperatures, dust, and some chemical fume exposure.
- Ability to work in conditions below 32 degrees or above 90 degrees on occasion.
- Occasional travel is required.
