Description

Job Summary:   Creates and enters coil/mechanical drawings into an electronic system utilizing Computer Aided Design software.

Essential Responsibilities/Activities:

  • Creates and revises mechanical drawings for manufacturing.
  • Updates drawings to meet current production requirements.
  • Reads and understands technical manuals, instructions, and criteria.
  • Understands in-house programs for drawing create and store.

 

Qualifications

Education and Experience Requirements:

Degree(s):  None
License(s):  None
Certification(s):  CAD training

  • Applicable certification from a Technical/Vocational Training institution.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of industry experience or equivalent experience in a similar industry.
  • Basic knowledge of commonly used symbols, practices, and procedures within the mechanical field is preferred.

  • Demonstrates strong multi-tasking capabilities.
  • Works effectively in a team environment.
  • Works effectively in a fast-paced high-pressure environment.

Essential Physical Functions:

  • Lift up to 50lbs.
  • Sit or stand for up to 95 percent of work hours.
  • Periodic visits to the manufacturing facility with seasonal hot and cold temperatures, dust, and some chemical fume exposure.
