WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

We are looking for a Welder to join our team.

As a welder, you will be responsible for applying appropriate welding processes to join, surface, fabricate or repair metal parts and assemblies, as

specified by work orders or production drawings.

A highlight of your day-to-day will include:

• Demonstrates willingness to take direction and follows instructions.
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment, returns all tools after use to proper storage location, and performs routine housekeeping (i.e.: cleaning, organizing). Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures. Identifies unsafe working conditions and notifies supervisor.
• Fabricates metal parts and assemblies by cutting, burning, and welding various metals. Uses welding machines, oxyacetylene torches, plasma cutters, various hand and power tools, cranes, forklifts and other lifting equipment, when certified, in an appropriate manner.
• Inspects completed work for conformance to specifications. Ensures work products meets specifications, including dimensional criteria, squareness standards and weld call outs through personal checking of product; obtains first part approval on each new task.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Preferred Education: Some coursework after high school
• Preferred Experience: Between 1 and 2 years
• Certified Welder - Preferred
• Forklift Driving Certification - Preferred
