Beverage Server

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Ability to deliver drinks to customers in professional manner
2. Must be well organized
3. Be able to read and check a customer’s identification to confirm that the customer is of drinking age
4. Receive money and / or credit cards and be able to use a credit card machine and cash register
5. Help keep the bar well stocked by maintaining liquor and glasses at the bar
6. Ability to refuse to serve customers that may have had too much to drink
7. Keeping records of tabs so at the end of the shift you know how much a customer has had and what is to be paid
8. Maintains the bar area to keep it clean
9. Must be able to wear required uniforms

EDUCATION: High school diploma or GED

EXPERIENCE: Customer Oriented. Previous bar setting helpful.

LICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS: Be able to obtain/maintain Eastern Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma gaming license.  Must be able to obtain an Oklahoma liquor license.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to maneuver in the casino, visual acuity to observe and react to handle customer questions and complaints. Must be able to stand and/or walk for 7 1\2 hours per day. Be able to lift up to 50lbs. Must be able to stretch, bend, kneel, twist and reach.  Must be able to taste, feel, smell, see and be able to read, write and speak basic English  

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Indigo Sky Casino maintains an alcohol/drug-free workplace. Work in casino operations containing second hand smoke, high noise level and bright lights.Hand eye coordination, above average oral communication skills, complaint resolution, and great attitude. Should be able to mix all the different drinks correctly. Must have very good customer service to be able to adapt to different personalities. Should be multitasked and be able to handle beverage mixing equipment. Must be able to quickly and effortlessly count back change to a customer. Must be able to work nights, holidays and weekends.
