ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Provide superior customer service and uniform repairs for all team members.
  2. Promptly provide day to day repairs to team member uniforms as requested, including, but not limited to replacing zippers, buttons, hemming, mending, etc.
  3. Accurately measure new team members for uniforms before their start date and ensure uniforms are ready by their start date.
  4. Provide accurate alterations for team member uniforms as necessary.
  5. Anticipate inventory needs and promptly notify supervisor of materials required.
  6. Accurately maintain information in various logs, including: sewing logs, departmental uniform logs, Uniform received form, uniform return form, payroll deduction form, and maintain records of items borrowed.
  7. Complete a monthly inventory of all uniform room materials and supplies.

 

 

JOB PREREQUISITES: 

  • Excellent customer service
  • Problem solving capability
  • Complete knowledge and experience with sewing machines and relevant equipment
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of fabrics and ability to alter uniforms
  • Ability to distinguish between colors and fabrics
  • Ability to take accurate measurements

Qualifications

 

EDUCATION:  High School diploma or GED.

 

EXPERIENCE: Previous commercial/industrial sewing experience or relevant training required.   

 

LICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS:  Be able to obtain/maintain Eastern Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma gaming license.

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:  Able to sit, stand or walk for extended time periods as well as reach, squat, bend, twist, lift, and kneel.  Repetitive use of hands, grasping, pushing and pulling; occasionally required to lift up to 50 pounds and must be able to climb a ladder up to a height of five (5) feet.

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT: We maintain an alcohol/drug-free workplace.  Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform in casino operations containing smoke and second-hand smoke with high noise level and bright lights. Must be able and willing to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed. The wardrobe attendant will provide service and repairs to team member uniforms.  The majority of the time, the attendant will work independently-self direction is a must. Ability to work in fast paced environment and problem-solving ability.
