Poker Cashier

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Performs the service of exchanging chips and cash for customers.
2. Pay out bonus pay-outs and tournament prizes efficiently and accurately.
3. Provide set ups for tournaments.
4. Balance poker room chip bank and cash drawer.
5. Document and record all dealers tips and tip sheets and send to accounting.
6. Pay out tips to dealers and exchange chips for cash.
7. Open and close Poker room chip bank per shift.
8. Provide superior guest service to guests.
9. Perform housekeeping tasks as needed.
10. Maintain security of casino assets at all times including cards, chips, etc.
11. Follow all company policies, procedures, and Tribal Internal Control Standards as related to the Poker Room at all times.
12. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.

EDUCATION:  High School diploma or GED.

EXPERIENCE:   Cashiering experience and customer service

LICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS:  Be able to obtain/maintain Eastern Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma gaming license.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:  Must have the manual dexterity to operate computer keyboard and necessary equipment. Must be able to stoop, bend, lift and carry up to 50lbs. Ability to observe and react to handle guest questions and complaints.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: We maintain an alcohol/drug-free workplace.  Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform in casino operations containing smoke and second-hand smoke with high noise level and bright lights. Must be able and willing to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed. Ability to work in fast paced environment and problem-solving ability. Must be able to work independently
