ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

- Position requires you to operate the front desk, assist guests with registration and checkout, and handle requests for rooms received by phone, e-mail, or customers at the desk.
- You’ll be expected to provide information to guests concerning rates, availability of rooms, description of facilities and services, and information about area attractions and sight-seeing opportunities.
- Has complete working knowledge of software system, including all daily transactions and those which are not performed often
- Communicates with the Housekeeping Department regarding guest rooms and requests
- Receives money from guests for payment of hotel charges and makes correct change
- Handles checks and credit cards received from the guests for payment of hotel charges
- Knows all of the room rates
- Issues safety deposit boxes to guests when requested
- Provides for a safe environment by following all safety and security procedures and their rules.
