ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Provide technical support both in response to reported problems and service requests. Including follow up and progress updates.
2. Maintain a strong working knowledge of all the equipment and systems supported by the IT Dept by keeping current with all documentation and by working with the IT staff
3. To utilize a good working knowledge of the operating systems and of the on-line applications to provide end-users with support whenever possible.
4. Install and configure software and hardware. Set up accounts, workstations, servers and technology tools, as well as maintain revision of OS, application and security patching.
5. Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements not only for day-to-day operations but be able to troubleshoot issues and outages.
6. Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues
7. Lead support efforts, making sure all desktop applications, workstations, and related equipment problems are resolved in a timely manner with limited disruptions.
8. Accomplishes organizational goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE: Experience with computer systems, networking and mainframe environment. PC experience; hardware and software, with an emphasis on MS office products. Ability to communicate computer process to a variety of audiences. Ability to work in a team oriented environment. Strong solving abilities. Advance knowledge of computers.
LICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS: Be able to obtain/maintain Eastern Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma gaming license.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to maneuver in the casino and routinely lift up 25 pounds and occasionally as much as 60 pounds. Must be able to stand or walk for a minimum of 8 hours and maneuver in or outside the casino. Visual acuity to observe and react to handle internal and external customer complaints or questions. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to bend, kneel, twist and stretch/reach above head. Have good dexterity in fingers. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: We maintain an alcohol/drug-free workplace. Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform in casino operations containing smoke and second hand smoke with high noise level and bright lights.
