Position Summary:

PFF is seeking an experienced Lifecycle Marketing Manager, reporting to the VP of Marketing. You will be responsible for coordinating the flow of email, push, and SMS campaigns, as well as targeted and automated communication, for PFF’s portfolio of industry-leading products and services. This will include building emails, tracking campaign performance, A/B testing, spearheading communication automation, supporting lead-generation strategies, and more. This role will be responsible for maintaining healthy databases, following email, push, and SMS best practices, tracking spam and bounce rates, and playing a critical role in PFF’s marketing offense. Most importantly, PFF’s Lifecycle Marketing Manager will share our passion for helping members make winning decisions, on and off the field. 

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Drive strategic growth marketing programs focused on onboarding, engagement, retention, and win-back
  • Ideate, develop and execute lifecycle programs leveraging automated and personalized cross-channel campaigns across email, push notifications, and SMS.
  • Execution of email marketing, push, and SMS campaigns
  • Build and optimize complex automated flows that support the business objectives
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to uncover user insights, create and design an experimentation roadmap, and execute a rigorous A/B testing agenda to enhance campaign effectiveness.
  • Monitor and analyze lifecycle marketing metrics and provide recommendations on how to improve performance 
  • Develop and own the lifecycle marketing calendar in conjunction with cross-functional teams
  • Ensure campaigns (including tests, segmentation, and complex personalization logic) are set up and deployed accurately.
  • Ensure email content is compelling, accurate, and on brand 
  • Maintain healthy sending habits and monitor for potential performance issues
  • Utilize project management software to align on project and campaign prioritization 

Required Skills and Experiences:

  • Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience managing lifecycle marketing programs
  • Experience leveraging a complex marketing automation/CRM system, preferably Klaviyo.
  • Deep knowledge of customer segmentation and list management.
  • Experience creating and managing documentation, including processes and procedures, active campaign monitoring, and experimentation tracking.
  • Proven experience in testing methodologies, including versioning 
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a distributed work environment
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace tools, including Google Docs, Sheets, and slides. 
  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for sports and knowledge of American football preferred.
