Position Summary: Yellowstone Boys and Girls Ranch Home Support Services Specialists play a crucial role in fostering the social, emotional, and physical well-being of youth, enabling them to flourish in their surroundings. Working closely with team members and families, Home Support Specialists deliver personalized in-home support and interventions, empowering youth to thrive and excel within their homes, schools, and communities.
Starting Salary Range:  $20.39 - $22.29 per hour. Salary reflects steps 1-5 of an 11-step pay schedule. The starting salary will be determined based on the applicant’s education and relevant experience.
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:Â
- Identify the needs of the youth and the family and provide intervention that positively benefits the family system.
- Develop individualized intervention planning based on assessments and incorporate evidence-based strategies.Â
- Provide direct care for youth in school, home, and community settings.  Â
- Collaborate with teams, supervisors, educators, community partners and families to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans and supporting youth’s complex needs.Â
- Create and conduct necessary documentation accurately and maintain documentation expectations in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR). Â
- Contribute to the strategic goals and outcomes of the agency as measured by the development and achievement of individual, departmental, and organizational goals and outcomes. Participate in Performance Quality Improvement (PQI) goals of the organization, both individually and as a team member.
- Deal constructively and helpfully with all other members of the organization.Â
- Fully support and model the mission and values of YBGR.
- Adhere to all policies, systems, safety requirements, and procedures of the organization.
- Take the initiative to identify problems and seek out solutions.
- Be a professional representative of the organization to those outside it.
- Participate and engage in monthly supervision/coaching meetings with the supervisor.
- Be aware of the cultural and socioeconomic characteristics of the persons served.
- Participate in required training as appropriate to the position and beneficial to YBGR.
