Description

As a Guest Services Supervisor, you will assist the Front Office Manager in overseeing daily operations at the Front Desk, helping to drive guest satisfaction and deliver quality service.  


Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome and register hotel guests, explaining the accommodations and taking necessary payment information.
  • Supervise and support the Front Desk team, ensuring all tasks are performed efficiently and in line with company policies.
  • Address guest inquiries, requests, and complaints, offering personalized solutions and recommendations.
  • Keep records of room availability and guests’ accounts. May make, confirm and cancel reservations for guests.
  • Compute bill, collects payment and makes change for guests. May post charges such as room, food, liquor or telephone by hand or machine.
  • Understand and enforce the hotel company credit policies. Account for all cash and makes deposits in accordance with hotel and company policies.
  •  Provide leadership during a variety of shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, maintaining a positive and supportive environment.
  • May make restaurant, transportation or entertainment reservations for guests; may deposit guests’ valuables in hotel safe or safe-deposit box; may order complimentary flowers or champagne for special guests.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
  • Strong service acumen and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work various shifts, including morning, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Knowledgeable in MicroSoft Office applications

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequently lifts/carries up to 25 lbs. 
  • Stand for long periods of time
  • Walk extended distances

 

Qualifications

Education - HS Diploma or equivalent.


Experience - Minimum 1 year guest services, general office, accounts receivable or customer service experience; OR an equivalent combination.
