Reports To: Lounge Manager, Assistant GM, Dir of F&B, Restaurant Manager
Supervises: N/A
Job Purpose:
To provide excellent food and beverage service, prepare light meals, and maintain cleanliness within the bistro area, creating a welcoming environment for guests.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Handle cash and process payments accurately at the cashier station.
2. Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and guest preferences.
3. Prepare a variety of coffee beverages, including cappuccinos, lattes, and other specialty drinks, to meet guest expectations.
4. Serve guests directly, ensuring a friendly and engaging experience.
5. Check in with guests (table touches) to ensure satisfaction and address any additional needs.
6. Heat and prepare food items using a turbo oven, including salads, flatbreads, and other light menu items.
7. Operate a deep fryer for items such as wings, tenders, and fries, following safety and quality standards.
8. Maintain cleanliness in the bistro area, including wiping down surfaces and organizing the workspace.
9. Clean dishes, glassware, and bar equipment, and ensure all items are properly stored.
10. Vacuum and perform end-of-shift cleaning to prepare the bistro for the next day’s operations.
11. Follow health and safety guidelines for food and beverage handling.
12. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Job Skills:
1. Ability to handle cash transactions with accuracy and maintain accountability for cash handling.
2. Knowledge of basic beverage preparation, including specialty coffee drinks, food heating, and bar equipment usage.
3. Familiarity with basic food preparation, including operation of a turbo oven and deep fryer.
4. Strong interpersonal skills to engage positively with guests and provide friendly service.
5. Excellent multitasking skills to manage food preparation, beverage service, and cleaning tasks simultaneously.
6. Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization.
7. Capacity to perform repetitive actions consistently, ensuring cleanliness standards are met.
Requirements
Education:
• HS Diploma or equivalent
Experience:
• Previous experience in food and beverage or bar service preferred but not required.
