The Production Technical Assistant provides production technical support assistance for the Houghton campus, with a focus on leading and developing lighting designers and operators.
Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee and lead the Houghton Campus Lighting Team: recruit, develop, and train lighting designers and operators
- Create or review the lighting designs for services each week
- Provide production tech support assistance for campus venues during services and events
- Fill in Tech Team roles during services as needed (e.g., lighting, media, producer, camera operator)
Other Duties
- Attend weekly 1:1 meeting with supervisor
- Attend team and staff meetings as schedule allows
- Adhere to all church policies and procedures, as well as ensure that volunteers comply with guidelines for ministry
- Work assigned duties during “All Hands On Deck” events such as Christmas and Easter services
- Other duties as assigned
