Job Description

The Opportunity

Our Disaster Recovery team supports natural disasters and humanitarian crises that overwhelm regional capacity. The Disaster Recovery Program Manager position is a dynamic and cross-functional role that coordinates and reports on the movement of products from donor to nonprofit partners.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with post-disaster situational awareness. Duties may include online research, tracking social media content of nonprofit partners, and survey creation and analysis.
  • Liaison between DR and Marketing for the collection of impact stories. Duties may include working with Senior Manager of DR to identify compelling narratives and drafting content.
  • Work in coordination with Marketing Team to ensure that DR website content is updated every other week. Duties may include collating donor and nonprofit activity and drafting page content for review by DR team.
  • Managing donations placement through the Salesforce Donation Dashboard. Duties include outreach to nonprofits, identification and resolution of internal and external hurdles, keeping Placement team abreast of status, and internal tracking.
  • Work with Nonprofit Strategy and Compliance teams to ensure successful donation/project completion
  • Generate and disseminate reports using NetSuite, Magento, Salesforce, Microsoft Power BI on a regular cadence to include in bi-weekly reporting
  • Work with Senior Manager of DR to ensure that disaster-focused nonprofit leads complete the onboarding process in an expedient manner. Duties may include follow-up phone calls and emails to nonprofits and attending internal stakeholder meetings.
  • Assist Senior Manager of DR in ensuring accurate inventory tracking and reporting from warehouse partners
  • Project management and administrative support for Good360 Disaster Recovery Council meetings.
  • Provide support to the Senior Manager of DR by fielding disaster-related inquiries from nonprofit partners.
  • Provide support to the Senior Manager of DR with Voluntary Organization Active in Disaster and Long-Term Recovery Group meeting attendance.

Qualifications

 

  • 2+ years of disaster recovery and/or emergency management experience
  • Proven track record of building and sustaining strong business relationships
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Availability to travel; amount based on demand
  • Entrepreneurial energy to drive cross-functional collaboration, with a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Creative problem-solving ability and innovative thinking to develop effective solutions
  • Demonstrates a strong commitment to fostering a teamwork attitude while also possessing the ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Management experience, including but not limited to people management or project management
  • A systems-level understanding of business processes to effectively navigate complex scenarios
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment
