Summary

Maintain efficient “guest satisfaction” oriented operations at the Front Desk in accordance with Trump International Standards.  Train new personnel and supervise Overnight shift activity.  Support revenue enhancement efforts through proper “house set up” and motivating achievement in the “upsell” program.  Ensure daily observation of service standards through “Personal Service” programs.

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Includes the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

 

  • Provide feedback on individual performances to management and discipline staff in consultation with Front Desk Manager.
  • Train Front Desk staff with emphasis on the activities of the PM shift such as Rate Reports and sell out preparation.
  • Maintain inventory of supplies and operating equipment.
  • Communicate pertinent information to desk staff and between shifts.
  • Ensure proper check in procedures and adherence to Trump International Standards.
  • Provide correct No Show Listing to Accounting.
  • Maintain efficient credit balances on all guests
  • Maintain owner accounts with proper allowances.

Education and/or Experience

High School diploma with some College or Business school preferred.  At least one year of desk experience is required.  Fluency in the English language required, foreign language preferred.  Problem solving ability.  Effective supervisory skills.

 

Language Skills

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.  Ability to write simple correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.  Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.  Good interpersonal skills with guests and staff.

 

Mathematical Skills

Basic math skills required.

 

Reasoning Ability

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.  Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

 

Other Skills and Abilities

Ability to handle stress.  Ability to work a flexible schedule (PM-AM).
