SUMMARY
This position oversees and supports the hotel's food & beverage operations, ensuring high standards of guest service, product quality, and team morale. The supervisor leads and motivates the team, maintains quality standards, and promotes a positive work environment. Strong communication skills and flexibility to work various schedules are essential.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

•    Schedules staff to provide sufficient coverage and limit overtime.
•    Conduct daily meetings / lineups with staff
•    Review hotel’s daily report, guest list, occupancy, events, department updates and weather conditions
•    Train staff on Hotel Standards and Procedures
•    Attentively greets & welcomes guest to the various outlets
•    Anticipate guests’ needs and offer services with commitment
•    In charge of various outlets opening and closing procedures
•    Conduct team-member audits on a daily basis
•    Maintain complete knowledge of all hotel features, services, & hours of operation
•     Ensures that service standards exceed guest expectations. 
•    Addresses guest and employee concerns constructively and effectively.  
•    Assists with ongoing training and development of each associate 
•    Understands and responds to all guest needs and requests in a timely and professional manner.
•    Assumes responsibilities of management in his/her absence
•    Assist in providing on-going training and staff motivation to all associates to promote team satisfaction and minimize turnover
•    Maintain role model standards in grooming and professional appearance and communications
•    Check supply and equipment levels; report shortages to Management Ensures adequate inventories of all operational supplies.
•    Ensure quality levels of food and beverage products and maintain standards in production, presentation, services, facilities and guest satisfaction.
•    Ensures that all stocks and supplies are requested timely, correct stock levels maintained and stored under optimum conditions. 
•    Support efforts to control labor costs and overtime.
•    Make sure that all employees are properly cashed out, there are no open checks in Micros, and all cash is balanced and accounted for 
•    Supervises work activities of F&B staff in all outlets
•    Conduct random inspections of outlets and service areas to ensure they meet or exceed all standards of cleanliness.
•    Investigate, report and record complaints, comments, and inappropriate or suspicious behavior by team members or guests.
•    In coordination with the Chefs & F&B Operations Managers and Human Resources, perform disciplinary actions and performance evaluations based on monitoring of guidelines set forth by policy and procedure.
•    Be visible and available to all team members while maintaining an open-door policy.
•    Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned. The employee is expected to work in other areas of the hotel when needed to assist operations to perform job duties not necessarily contained in this job description

Qualifications

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

•    Required 1 year F&B Supervisor experience
•    High school diploma or general education degree 

REQUIREMENTS

•    Physical demands
o    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, talk and hear
o    The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls 
o    Position may require reaching with hands and arms
o    Lift up to 50 pounds
o    Requires working outside with exposure to external climatic elements such as sun, rain, wind etc
•    Communication
o    Ability to communicate, both verbally and written, effectively with guests, vendors and co-workers
o    Must read, write and speak the English language fluently
o    Knowledge of Spanish helpful
o    Complete scheduled inventories and stock and requisition necessary supplies.. Complete work orders for maintenance repairs. 
•    Computer skills
o    Solid computer knowledge.
o    Strong Microsoft Office skills with emphasis on Excel
o    Knowledge of POS system
o    Ability to read and interpret business records and statistical reports.
