Description

To maintain kitchen sanitation, equipment and product accessibility and availability so that the kitchen staff can create "World Class" cuisine. Responsible for overseeing, scheduling and managing of equipment inventories and purchases along with the Executive Chef. 
•    Monitors product quality regularly Responsible for overseeing, scheduling and managing of the delivery of all food, china, glass & silver for banquet functions. 
•    Adheres to all kitchen sanitation, security and safety standards.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS:

  • Physical demands
    • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, talk and hear
    • The employee is frequently required to use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls
    • Position may require reaching with hands and arms
  • Communication
    • Ability to communicate, both verbally and written, effectively with guests, vendors and co-workers
    • Must read, write and speak the English language fluently
    • Knowledge of Spanish and Creole helpful
  • Computer skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills with emphasis on Excel

EDUCATION AND/ OR EXPERIENCE:

  • Required 3+ years Stewarding
  • Four-year degree in hospitality or other business related field.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

  • Must be able to communicate in English

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Must be able to lift, push, pull up to 50 pounds
