Description

Position Summary:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Entry-Level Project Manager/Scrum Master to join our team. This role involves supporting Agile teams in planning, executing, and delivering projects effectively and efficiently. The successful candidate will help facilitate Scrum ceremonies, ensure transparency, and assist in removing obstacles for the team.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Scrum Facilitation: Lead and support daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Ensure teams adhere to Agile/Scrum practices and facilitate continuous improvement.
  • Project Planning and Execution: Assist in creating and maintaining project plans, tracking project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams (development, QA, product) to ensure effective collaboration and alignment on project goals.
  • Issue Resolution: Identify, track, and remove impediments to help the team stay focused and productive.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Maintain documentation on project status, updates, and lessons learned. Provide regular status reports to stakeholders and ensure project information is accessible and up-to-date.
  • Risk Management: Support the identification and mitigation of project risks to help ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Continuous Improvement: Support the team in identifying process improvements and implementing best practices in Agile methodologies.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or a related field.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant certification (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster or entry-level project management certifications) is a plus.
  • Prior experience in the homeowner’s or auto insurance industry preferred.
  • Proficiency in tools like JIRA, Trello, Miro, Smartsheet, or MS Project (preferred but not required).
