Job Requirements:
The following requirements are those that are normally required for the performance of a Barista position. Physical Requirements:
This position normally requires the physical demands of standing for long periods of time, walking, bending, lifting (up to 30lbs) or performing other work requiring medium to high physical exertion, talking and hearing and adequate vision on a continuous basis to perform the job’s essential requirements.
Non-Physical Requirements:
Education
- High School Diploma/GED, preferred
Experience
- Two years’ experience in retail, hospitality, and/or customer service experience, preferred.
- Work experience as a Barista preferred.
Special Skills
- Basic mathematic skills (addition, subtraction, percentages).
- Ability to problem solve quickly.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong time management skills.
- Ability to work at a fast pace and multi-task while maintaining accuracy.
- Bilingual/Biliterate (English/Spanish), preferred but not required
Licenses, Registration, Certification
- Valid Washington Food Worker Card within first 14 days of hire.
Employment is conditional upon:
- Being cleared by criminal background check and fingerprinting when required.
