Refugee Resettlement assists in helping create a home-away-from-home, we assist government-approved refugees in becoming self-sufficient through cultural orientation, job development, family reunification and resettlement.


Join the Refugee Resettlement team as the Match Grant Case Manager. The Case Manager I (MG) Matching Grant is responsible to enroll clients in the federal Matching Grant program in a timely manner and performing services included in the MG cooperative agreement. Case Manager is responsible for conducting intakes, provide thorough orientations and assessments, providing quality case management services, and maintaining documentation for all clients.

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • One (1) year experience in an administrative setting or within refugee populations

  • Bilingual (Dari/Pashto)

  • Valid Texas driver’s license

  • You are able to demonstrate organizational and planning skills

  • You are able to demonstrate success in dealing with a various type of people

  • You are able to successfully document case notes

  • You are able to provide group and individual orientations for clients

  • You are able to handle confidential client information

  • You have intermediate proficiency in MS Office Suite

  • You have strong verbal and written communication skills

 

What you Deliver

 

  • You assess client eligibility, complete intakes, orientations and create individualized service plans. Assess whether a client is eligible to receive social services benefits. Ensure that services are provided in accordance with LEP policy.

  • You advocate for clients with social service agencies, provide follow-up assistance with critical cases and communicate with the other service providers. Maintain client’s file, update case notes and update calendar.

  • You perform other duties as assigned by Program Coordinator such as assisting with outreach, participating in staff retreats, United Way tours, agency fairs and seeking engagements. Assist with special organizational projects/events, etc.
