POSITION: Massage Therapist
REPORTSTO: Angela McKaye, WISH Program Manager
EMPLOYMENT: Hourly non-exempt, 0.5 FTE, part-time (benefits eligible) starting at $35/hr
SCHEDULE: Monday – Friday, flexible schedule
LOCATION: Working from both our SE Portland and Oregon City Quest Locations. 
TRAVEL: Some local travel may be required to meet staffing or program needs.

As a Massage Therapist, you will play a pivotal role in our mission to enhance the well-being of our clients.

As a Massage Therapist at Quest Center, you'll have the opportunity to showcase your expertise in various massage techniques, including deep tissue, Swedish, reflexology, shiatsu, Tui Na, and lymphatic drainage massage. We prioritize a trauma-informed approach, ensuring that our clients feel comfortable and supported throughout their journey to wellness.

A day in the life:

• Evaluate clients to identify areas of pain or stress
• Implement massage techniques tailored to client needs
• Provide trauma-informed massage services
• Advise clients on stretching, strengthening, or relaxation methods
• Foster a welcoming and professional atmosphere
• Collaborate with WISH and acupuncture staff to meet client needs
• Participate in clinic-provided training in compliance with HIPAA
• Ensure accurate charting and billing for massage treatments
• Contribute to a clean and organized clinic space

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience,
• Active Oregon Massage License,
• Previous work experience with clients dealing with chronic pain,
• Cultural competence and ability to work with diverse communities,
• Passion for and belief in Quest Center's mission to provide integrative healthcare services, community, and education to all people seeking a wellness-focused approach to living.
