Job Summary    

Project Manager Positioning, Navigation And Timing Systems (PM PNT) is a U.S. Army Program Executive Office Intelligence, Electronic Warfare & Sensors (PEO IEW&S) organization that has a mission to provide Warfighter-valued Assured PNT solutions today that enable multi-domain operations in rapidly evolving denied environments. BMA is seeking a Electronics Systems Maintenance Technician Level V to support PM PNT’s product support services requirement for logistics engineering support services, installation, and repair, and field support (e.g., training, new equipment fielding, and property support; and Field Service Representatives, etc.) for new or existing hardware and software products.

Duties: 

The Electronics Systems Maintenance Technician Level V serves as highly experienced technician capable of resolving complex system failures, developing preventive maintenance programs, training less experienced technicians, identifying systemic failures, and conducting root cause analysis in collaboration with engineering. Manages deliberate program of developing junior technicians. Provides oversight to ensure support equipment (test measurement and diagnostic equipment etc.) is regularly calibrated and maintained by all field sites, Troubleshoots and repairs systems, performs software updates. Install, modify, wire, fabricate and maintain systems. Distinguish between hardware and software problems in multi-vendor systems.

Clearance Requirements 

There is a DoD Secret Clearance requirement for this position. 

Required Skills & Certifications    

•    Bachelor’s from an accredited academic institution in Electric Systems Engineering Technology, or related engineering or technology field.
•    10+ years’ experience testing of electronic equipment.
•    8+ years’ experience testing and trouble shooting electronic subsystem installations in DoD military systems.
•    5+ years’ experience in a DoD environment.
•    Experience with managing and training less experienced technicians.
•    Experience with developing preventative maintenance programs.
•    Experience with test measurement and diagnostic equipment. 
•    Experience with troubleshooting hardware and software problems in multi-vendor systems.

Desired Skills & Certifications    

•    10+ years Military experience preferably as a 948B Electronic Systems Maintenance Warrant Officer.
