Job Summary
BMA is seeking a SAP Application Administrator to support the AMPS effort within the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA).
Duties:
Responsible for configuring, monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting the SAP technical environment as well as scheduling and executing the SAP transport system. Collaborates to resolve SAP transport and source code problems. Responsible for the installation, upgrade and maintenance of SAP systems and ancillary components. Evaluate and design of interfaces between SAP and external systems. Maintenance of the SAP Data Dictionary and database objects. Manage the migration of SAP database and application configuration into production as well as analyze, develop and maintain data architectures/process models within SAP. Generate documentation for and updates to the existing SAP environment and work with IT and business units to modernize the SAP environment.
Clearance Requirements
There is a Secret clearance requirement and and IT-I Critical Sensitive clearance.
Required Skills & Certifications
- SAP Security and Role creation and updates a must
- 4 years of industry or functional skills in specific application area.
- Minimum SAP Experience 1-2 Years.
- IA Level: IAT I
- 8570.01-M Baseline Certification to include application, data, database, utility or software tools administration which require “Privileged” access
- From most current DLA approved Computing Environment Certification List
- SAPCTA – System Administration (Oracle DB) with SAP NetWeaver 7.5; SAPCTA - System Administration (SAP HANA as a Database) with SAP NetWeaver 7.5; SAP CAA – SAP Business Objects Business Intelligence Platform 4.2; SAPCTA - SAP System Administration with SAP NetWeaver 7.5 (Delta); SAPCTA - SAP System Administration (SAP HANA as a database) with SAP NetWeaver 7.5 (Delta); SAP HA200; SAP BOE320
