What AMC is Looking For
The ideal candidate will embody the spirit of Echo Lake Camp, fostering a strong sense of community and inclusivity that has drawn families for generations. Each week, guests join a welcoming community that celebrates their interests, fosters meaningful connections, and offers opportunities to refresh in the natural beauty of Acadia National Park. The Manager will balance the camp’s cherished traditions with a commitment to maintaining an equitable, inclusive, and culturally relevant environment for staff, guests, visitors, and volunteers. Outstanding management skills are essential, along with the ability to cultivate an atmosphere where guests can relax, recreate, socialize, and engage with environmental stewardship.
- Must be able and willing to work for the full operational season and fulfill off season responsibilities.

A college degree is preferred; however, equivalent experience in outdoor education, program management, or facility management will be considered.

What AMC Can Offer You
Salary range: $1,875 - $2200/ per week
We are committed to equitable compensation practices, and we encourage qualified candidates to apply. The initial salary represents our starting point, and our compensation philosophy is designed to reward and recognize the contributions of our employees as they grow within the organization. External candidates typically begin their journey with us at the starting point of the salary range. The final compensation offer will be based on factors such as experience, education, skills and geographic differential relevant to the position, and will be discussed during the interview process.
